Alternative approaches to catalytic amidation
Amides can also be synthesised in a catalytic manner from other precursors than carboxylic acids/amines, although that is the main focus of our current research project. This page will be updated in due course to contain a list of publications detailing catalytic amide formation from esters, alcohols, aldehydes, aryl halides, etc which should be of interest to anyone wanting to apply catalytic amidation reactions in their own research.
